The Restaurant Association of Newfoundland Labrador sends thanks and congratulations to everyone involved in making the 11th annual Savour food and wine Show another great one.

Best Hot Food:  Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland; Oppidan and Bivver

Braised spring lamb ragout, hand rolled ricotta gnocchi, red onion marmalade,

pickled mushrooms and pecorino cheese

Runner Up: Saffron India Gate

Rumali Rotie/Chicken Masala and Rice

Best Cold Food: Five Brothers Artisan Cheese

Five Brothers Farm Fresh Cheese on Old Dublin Focaccia Crostini with Barking Kettle’s Stinging Nettle Pesto

 Runner up: Sushi Nami Royale

Caterpillar Roll: avocado, smoked salmon, crab, cream cheese, and fish roe wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber topped  with homemade mayo sauce.

Best Dessert: : Newfoundland Chocolate Company

Tie:  Strawberry Cheesecake gelato with fresh strawberries and Tilthouse biscotti

and

Salted caramel gelato made with extra smooth milk chocolate with creamy caramel and Trinity Bay sea salt

Runner Up: TIE:  

Rocket Bakery : Rocket’s Brown Butter Shortbread topped with Dark Chocolate Mousse, Newfoundland Sea Salt, Partridgeberry Juniper Gelée & Bubble Sugar!
